– NO, we do NOT have wired Electricity to each individual, disbursed spots which are in the middle of trees on the property. Nor do we have plans to put in electricity.
+ This is Eco-tourism similar to rural US and state parks. It is the antithesis of the Resort communities. There is no activity center building or regularly planned group activities for campers.
– Bring your own quiet batteries, generators and devices which must be self-contained, as required under the Harvest Host membership guidelines.
– Septic Dump for NON-toxic meaning NO highly treated gray or black water.
+ Compost, recycling and trash.
– Starlink Wifi service for some spots. We are extending the service over time to the full acreages of the properties.
– Multiple area activities include hiking and biking trails of the Lake-Butler Palatka trail to Estoniah park, Mike Roess Gold Head Branch State park, Ravine Gardens in Palatka, boating and swimming Lake George, multiple Springs to nearby Clay county shooting ranges, smalltown museums, festivals and music events, there is plenty to do. The question is really how to do it all as the location is center to everything.

– Major cities; 1 hour from Jacksonville and around 1:10 from St. Augustine or Ocala
– Orlando is around 2 hrs/91 miles; Tampa is 2.5 hrs/150 miles; Miami beach is a round a 5 hour drive/ 350 miles; Pensacola Atlanta
– Boats, kayaks, toys may be rented at surrounding

– Gate requiring codes for vehicles to enter and exit.
– First aid station located at office

– Local veterinary and medical services can be found through a general web search for nearby Keystone Heights, Palatka, Starke, Interlochen, Melrose and Middleburg.
– Dogs must be brought inside during severe weather
– Shade and water stations may be provided throughout park
– Exercise caution during extreme temperatures

– No horses, alpaca or livestock animals exist on the property and are not permitted due to insurance liability.
We aim to keep things simple and friendly. Our main goal is for everyone – human and canine – to have a safe, enjoyable stay. This is a non-profit, community-focused group.
Management reserves the right to modify these rules as needed to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests. All residents must acknowledge receipt and understanding of these policies prior to check-in. Management has final say on all dog-related matters to maintain a safe environment.
